How does it work?
I come half an hour before the guests and set my tools (I have everything with me but a table and a chair). I have a Live Painter sign on my table, and when the guests come, I take photos of them, and sketch from these photos while the guests enjoy the party.
How many guests can you sketch during one event?
One sketch takes me 5-10 minutes, depending on number of people. In 5 hours, I make about 40 sketches. I can sketch extra portraits at home and mail them to your address.
Can you sketch the Chuppah ceremony and the guests?
Yes, I can make sketches both of a Chuppah ceremony and portraits of the guests. For the painting I need 1-1,5 hours, and for the guests’ sketches, it’s 3 or 4 hours.
What about packaging?
Each sketch is backed with a cardboard and slipped into a clear nylon envelope.
How much does it cost?
I charge ₪350 per hour and ask for at least 3 hours, but recommend 4 hours, as the first hour is usually spent on taking photos and guests getting used a live painter.
What events do you sketch at?
Usually at the weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. I also come to sketch at birthday or corporate parties.
