How does it work in general?

I come half an hour before the guests arrive, set my tools (I have everything with me but a table and a chair), and put a sign Live Portraits on my table. When the guests come, I take photos of them, and sketch from these photos while the guests enjoy the party.

How many guests can you sketch during one event?

One sketch usually takes me 5-10 minutes, depending on how many people are depicted. And in general, in 5 hours, I make about 40 sketches.

Can you paint both Chuppah ceremony and the guests?

Yes, I can make both a framed, sketchy watercolor Chuppah painting and portrait sketches of the guests. The time I need for the painting is about 1-1,5 hours. And for the guests’ sketches, it’s a minimum of 3 hours and 4 hours recommended.

How much does it cost?

I charge ₪350 per hour and ask that you book at least 3 hours, but recommend booking 4 hours. It’s the optimal time, as the first hour is usually spent on taking pictures and guests getting used to the idea of a live painter.
